Topics Discussed

Neighborhood Watch Progam:

Deputy McFadden and Deputy Ewing presented an overview of building a neighborhood watch program. All attendees were infavor of starting the program in our neighborhood to promote home security and prevent crime. Mark Z. volunteered to be the coordinator of this project. We need volunteer block captains who can be contacted if there is any suspicious activity and/or concerns on their block. In order for this to work, we need block captains on every block who represent and relay messages for 10-15 homes. If you are interested please contact Mark at 303-933-3399.

  • If you would like to report a vehicle exceeding the speed limit in the neighborhood, please call the traffic hotline number at 303-271-KOPS.
  • Vehicles in violation of County Regulations were identified. This list was given to the deputies.

Main Entrance Maintenance:

  • The entrance is almost done! Now, we need to make sure the flowers and plants are watered, the weeds get pulled, and the litter gets picked up. A list of volunteers was distributed. We still need voluntees for June, July, and December.
Financials:
2006 Donations -$0.00
Current Account Balance: $723.13

2006 Community Involvement Activites:
  • Annual Garage Sale is set for May 6th and 7th. We would like to have a fundraiser during the event. A hot dog booth was discussed. If you are interest please contact Danielle Marcus at 303-669-7974.
  • BBQ at the Park-TBD

If you got a letter from the zoning department, you were on the list! Next will be your campers, RVs, boats, etc.. Welcome to the attempt to be COVENANT CONTROLLED. But don't worry, you don't need to take care of your yard or repair your fence. They're not worried how that looks!

I think that an attempt to clean up the neighborhood is good

Is there any way that you could simply post the phone number for residents to call in these "Vehicles in violation of County Regulations"?

Danielle at 303-669-7974, are you a resident in Woodmar Village or are your interests in this neighborhood strictly financial?
