Good afternoon! Just wanted to say, "Thank You", for the nice letter that you had the zoning department send me in regards to my vechile sitting on my driveway. Yes, it's resgistration is not current & currently not running, but it is not hurting anyone. I hope that you have crossed all your T's & dotted your I's, sense you have time to worry about everyone elses business. If I had wanted to live with a bunch of snobs, I would have bought in Grant Ranch. I guess that all the RV's & campers will soon be leaving the neighborhood! Good Luck with collecting money & volunteers for your projects, you have lost my support & I will be sure to spread the news to my friends & neighbors! Maybe next time you will take the time to think & contact people in person before you start playing games!
With $700. in the coffer from last year - what happened to the still unlit sign? and what happened to Woodmar Village meetings, ideas? Where's the money? Who's doing what with it??
Hello, since ‘anonymous’ has already been taken (both posts by ‘anonymous’ are by the same person I assume), I’ll be ‘anonymEstes’.
I too, was given a ‘warning’ letter to move my vehicle that was parked in my driveway – and yes, it was just as ‘anonymous’s vehicle was - it's registration was not current & was currently not running.
At first, I wondered why someone didn’t just say something to me, but then again I can appreciate the whole ‘anon’ approach. You don’t run the risk of making an enemy with you neighbor – he’ll just have to be suspicious of everyone.
I also received a ‘warning’ for having my dog out in my front yard. The mere presence of the dog put fear into people, they just couldn’t come out and play for fear that it would eat them all up.
Look, we are all in this together – whether you like it or not! If you did move to Grant Ranch, New Orleans, Myanmar, or Highlands ranch (where disputing neighbors now find themselves attending a funeral for the killed neighbor and the killer neighbor will spend forever in prison), you’d be ‘stuck’ with neighbors you don’t particularly care for – you have a duty to take care of your share – whether that is home, yard, and / or vehicle maintenance.
If you ever get out and enjoy the neighborhood, you have to admit that you do notice how, as stated in the most recent ‘On the Home Front’, degradation has taken place in this neighborhood. Many homeowners have spent good hard earned money to improve their property, while several other property owners have moved away leaving their investment to renters who don’t care too much about the community.
Face it ‘Anonymous’, you would prefer to have that vehicle either running or out of your hair (sold). It has been on your conscience, no need to take it out on those who just want a clean, harmonious, and safe place for their families to reside.
I’d like to correspond to many of you in our community, but with only 3 posts in a year and a half, I don’t know that anyone is even reading these.

Please come to our next meeting, April 19, at 7:30pm. We are interested in your opinion and feedback.

Bottom line, let’s do our best to do our share.
